PLACEMENT REPORT
2023-2024
Valliammal College for Women had a successful recruitment session for the Academic year 2023-2024. Career Guidance Programmes like various skill development workshops, Webinars and Seminars were organized by the Placement Cell to upskill the students and to provide significant exposure to face the challenges in their career path. Students were served with a palette of job opportunities mapping to their skills and qualifications through the On/Off Campus Drives and Virtual Drives that were organized. The skill set and diligence of the students have reaped around 802 placements in firms like Sutherland Global Services, TCS, Lemon Peak, Quintessence Business Solutions, Rinex Technologies, Linz Technologies and so on.
Rexona Hindustan Unilever Pvt Ltd conducted a Confidence Academy Workshop on “Personality Development and Personal Hygiene” for final year UG and PG students on 17 th July 2023.
Cognavi India Pvt Ltd conducted a seminar on “Unlock Your Career Potential Accessing to Cognavi's Exclusive AI Enabled Job Portal” for final year UG and PG students on 27 th July 2023. On 14 th December 2024, an online Aptitude Exam was conducted and 346 students were selected.
Prime Educators conducted a seminar on “Career Guidance related to Job Opportunities in Government Sectors” for final year UG and PG students on 14th August 2023.
ABIDAT conducted an Awareness Program on “Scope of Dryland Studies” for Final year UG and PG (Life sciences) on 17th August 2023.
Rinex Technologies conducted a virtual drive for final year UG students on 24th August 2024 in which one student was selected for the post of Inside Sales Specialist.
Lemon Peak organized an On Campus Drive on 7 th September 2023 for the post of Inside Sales Representative/Customer Support in which 71students were selected.
New Camp IAS Academy conducted an Orientation Program & Free Coaching for Prelims for final year UG and PG students on 14 th September 2023 to 16 th September 2023 in which 3 students were selected for 6 months training.
“Aspire For Her” conducted a seminar on 27 th September 2023 and 29 th September 2023 for Second and Final year UG students on the topic “Introduction to Data Science Webinar”.
Zynofus Technologies Pvt Ltd conducted a virtual drive for final year UG students on 28 th September 2023 for the post of Software Tester/ Human Resource Executive/Business Analyst and 30 students were shortlisted.
Naandi Foundation’s Titan LeAP conducted an Employability Skill Development Program for final year UG and PG students on 3 rd October 2023 and 226 students underwent training for 2 months.
Recruit CRM conducted a virtual drive on 5 th October 2023 for final year UG students in which 3 students were shortlisted.
Qspiders conducted a CSR Certified Internship Placement Integrated Boot Camp Program for Final year UG and PG of BCA and Bsc Computer science stream on 5th October 2023 in which 35 students were selected for 3 months training.
Quintessence Business Solutions organized an On Campus Drive on 06 th October 2023 for the post of Medical Coding, AR Caller and AR Analyst in which 74 students were selected.
Sutherland organized an On Campus Drive on 10 th October 2023 for the post of Voice and Non-Voice Process Associate in which 316 students were selected.
G-TEC conducted a seminar on “Computer for All and its latest Trends” for final year UG and PG students on 13th October 2023.
TCS-BPS organized an Off Campus drive on 20 th October 2023 for the final year UG non CS Students in which 6 students were shortlisted.
Smart GC Pro Edu Tech Pvt Ltd organized an On Campus Drive on 8 th January 2024 for the post of Cabin crew and Ground staff in which 122 students were shortlisted for training cum placements.
Swins I Fosys conducted an Orientation Programme on Healthcare documentation (Medical coding/Billing/Insurance and Transcription) for Final year UG and PG (Life sciences) on 11 th January 2024.
Tata Communications organized an Online Assessment on 17 th January 2024 for the post of Non software Engineer in which 4 students were selected.
Valliappa Foundation Tech Mahindra conducted a Skill Development Program on 22nd January 2024 on Medical Coding, AR Caller and Medical billing for final year UG students in which 705 students participated and 25 students were selected for free training.
Mercflames Technologies organized an On Campus Drive on 23 rd January 2024 for the post of Customer Success Executive and Process in which 185 students were selected. And 42 students were selected for part-time jobs in the Off Campus Drive that was conducted on 5 th February 2024.
TCS NQT conducted an Assessment on 1st September 2023 for the post of Trainee-Programmer in which 28 students participated.
ZOHO Corporation conducted an Off Campus Drive on 10 th February 2024 for the post of Software Developer in which 16 students participated.
Chinmaya IAS Academy organized a seminar on “Job Opportunities in Government Sectors” for final year UG and PG students on 12 th February 2024.
Kalsun Groups conducted an On Campus Drive for final year UG students on 14th February 2024 and 84 students were selected for various posts as Customer Development Executive, Marketing Executive, News Reader, Anchors, Audit Assistant etc.
Collar Jobskart conducted an On Campus Drive for final year BBA and MBA students on 21ST February 2024 for the post of HR in which 18 students were selected.
Tech India Infoway conducted an On Campus Drive for final year UG students of Life Sciences and Mathematics on 23 rd February 2024 for the post of Clinical Analyst in which 85 students participated.
Lifinsure conducted an Off Campus Drive on 23 rd February 2024 for final year UG students and 15 students were selected.
Linz Technologies – a premium partner of Zoho conducted an On Campus Drive for final year UG and PG students on 21 st March 2024 and 6 students were selected.
The Recruitment Process in the following companies – Congruent Solutions, AVASOFT, Clarivate and Straive has been initiated and is in progress.
